Find Out What Makes
St Peter's Droitwich Extraordinary!

Set alongside Droitwich Lido Park, St Peter's is a thriving Church of England school for children aged 4 to 9. As a values-led school, our Christian vision shapes a warm, inclusive community where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish. We combine high expectations with genuine care, providing strong academic foundations alongside a wide range of opportunities that help children discover their talents, interests and potential.
Our Christian vision, God chooses ordinary people to do extraordinary things, underpins everything we do. We live our vision through the values of ambition, courage and resilience and by being beacons of hope.
Parents often tell us that St Peter’s “feels like a family,” a place where children are cared for, supported and encouraged to flourish. Every child is known, valued and part of a nurturing school community.

At St Peter's, every child is supported to achieve their best. Through high expectations, excellent teaching, and a rich curriculum, we build the knowledge, skills and confidence children need to thrive.

Introducing Our New Youth Council Representatives. We are delighted to introduce our new St Peter's Youth Council representatives. Last week, the team attended their first Youth Council meeting at Droitwich High School, where they met with other young people from across the area. During the meeting, the representatives worked together to write letters to local key workers, thanking them for the valuable contributions they make to our community. They also shared ideas and discussed projects that could help support and improve the local community throughout this school year.

Last week, our new Sports Captains led their first inter-house tournament. All of Key Stage 2 took part in a Netball Skills Tournament, which consisted of four different stations. Each station focused on developing a different netball skill, with houses earning points for their team at each station. The scores for Years 3 and 4 have now been added together, and we can finally reveal the results! Our KS2 Netball Skills Tournament winners were the Reds, with an impressive total of 149 points! Well done, Winslow! What a fantastic achievement! A huge well done to all of our pupils for taking part and showing great teamwork, enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

Reverend Laura came in to talk to children about Baptism as part of their RE lessons. During the session, she explained the meaning and importance of Baptism within the Christian faith, helping the children to understand why it is a special and significant celebration for many families. The children really enjoyed watching Rev Laura demonstrate how a baptism is carried out using role play and 'a baby!'

Meet 'Mike' the Microscope!!! St Peter's PTA was one of several Droitwich charities to receive a generous bequest last year. We spent a long time carefully considering how best to use this gift and decided to invest in something truly special for our school; something unique, long-lasting, and inspiring for children of all ages for many years to come. This museum-quality microscope is both easy to use and capable of producing truly remarkable images, opening up a fascinating world of discovery for our pupils. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the St Peter's PTA for supporting us in making this very special purchase for the school. We are also grateful to Production Support Services Ltd (PSS) for helping to design and build the bespoke unit on which the microscope sits. The unit has been specially designed to fit through the school's doorways, allowing the microscope to be moved around and accessed by pupils across the school during lessons. We are excited to see the curiosity, wonder, and learning opportunities this incredible resource will inspire for generations of St Peter's children.

Munchy and Crunchy, our school Guinea Pigs have been having a lovely time at their weekend home with Miss Webster. The boys love being in their Guinea Garden exploring, nibbling on greens and investigating the sights and smells around them. They thoroughly enjoy their all inclusive hotel at Miss Websters!!

Children have been bringing History to life in a memorable and engaging way, helping them to develop a deeper understanding of the past through exciting hands-on experiences and activities.

Introducing the 2026-2027 Sports Captains!! Our Sports Captains have been busy getting involved in our first tournament of the year, which took place yesterday and focused on developing KS2 netball skills. They each took responsibility for different activity stations and played an important role in recording scores for each house throughout the event. The Sports Captains also did a fantastic job leading the warm-up before the tournament began. The final scores will be announced during Friday's assembly. Well done to our Sports Captains on a brilliant start to the year.

Congratulations to our newly appointed House Captains and Vice Captains. We know they will be fantastic role models and represent their houses with pride, enthusiasm and responsibility. We would also like to say a huge well done to everyone who applied. Standing in front of others, sharing their ideas and putting themselves forward takes a great deal of courage. We were incredibly impressed by the confidence, determination and effort shown by all candidates. We are looking forward to seeing what our new House and Vice Captains achieve this year!

In D.T., Year 2 have been tasting and evaluating a variety of different dips. They explored the ingredients in each dip and discussed where they come from, identifying whether they were grown, reared or caught. The children carefully considered the taste, texture, smell and appearance of each dip, sharing their opinions and comparing their favourites. They showed great enthusiasm during the activity and used their evaluation skills well, explaining what they liked and disliked about each product. This has helped them develop a better understanding of food sources and how different ingredients are produced before reaching our plates.
