What is HAF funding and am I eligible?

HAF stands for Holiday  Activities and Food (HAF).

The purpose of HAF funding is to provide free holiday provision, which includes healthy food and enriching activities, to school-aged children eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals (FSM).

The funding makes activities, food and support directly available to families through local providers throughout the holiday periods (excluding half-term holidays).

The provision should aim to support children, young people and families to:

  • eat more healthily
  • be more active
  • take part in engaging and enriching activities
  • be safe and not isolated
  • have greater knowledge of health and nutrition
  • be more engaged with school and other services

To register or to establish whether you are entitled to HAF, click this link to the Worcestershire County Council website where full details on HAF funding is available.

Open Morning - Saturday 28th September 10.00am until 12 noon for families of children due to start school in September 2025
