Parent Teacher Association (PTA)



St. Peter’s PTA works to support the school through fundraising activities and events throughout the academic year.


We are a member of Parentkind- the leading membership organisation for parent teacher associations in the UK – and we are registered with the Charity Commission.

Committee Members 2020-2021

At the PTA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 6th October 2020 the Committee roles were fulfilled by the following parents:

Rachael Whittaker - Vice Chair

Andrew Blackford - Treasurer

Natalie Beeby - Secretary



As a charitable function, the PTA must have a formal Constitution in place which states the purpose of the association, and the rules, regulations and procedures by which Committee members govern the PTA.

St. Peter’s PTA is updating its Constitution. It is proposed to adopt the national Parentkind Constitution (please see document below for full details of the Constitution). The PTA is inviting all St. Peter’s parents, carers and guardians to take time to review the Constitution and feedback any comments to the Committee via the PTA Facebook page or via email at

The next PTA meeting (Tuesday 1st December 2020) will be an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) where the new Constitution will be discussed and agreed – all welcome to attend.



The PTA raises funds through a wide variety of events. From bake sales and crisp packet recycling, to bingo events, quiz nights and fireworks displays – the PTA has raised thousands of pounds over the years for the school. Every penny we raise is invested back into school for the benefit of all of the children in the St. Peter’s community.

PTA Meetings

St. Peter’s PTA meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 7.15pm.

PTA meetings are currently being held online due to national restrictions.

The meeting calendar for 2020/21 is available below. All parents, carers and guardians of children at St. Peter’s are welcome to attend!

Upcoming Events


The PTA had hoped to hold a Christmas Fayre this year but unfortunately due to current restrictions this won’t be possible. Instead, we are going to hold an online Christmas Raffle! Please keep an eye on our Facebook page and the TIOT for details.


We have been inundated with amazing donations from local companies which we are extremely grateful for! Please do share on social media, purchase tickets and support us to raise really important funds for the school.
