St. Peter’s PTA works to support the school through fundraising activities and events throughout the academic year.
We are a member of Parentkind- the leading membership organisation for parent teacher associations in the UK – and we are registered with the Charity Commission.
Committee Members 2020-2021
At the PTA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 6th October 2020 the Committee roles were fulfilled by the following parents:
Katie Bruton - Chair
Rachael Whittaker - Vice Chair
Andrew Blackford - Treasurer
Natalie Beeby - Secretary
As a charitable function, the PTA must have a formal Constitution in place which states the purpose of the association, and the rules, regulations and procedures by which Committee members govern the PTA. Please scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the Constitution which the PTA adopted in December 2020.
The PTA raises funds through a wide variety of events. From bake sales and crisp packet recycling, to bingo events, quiz nights and fireworks displays – the PTA has raised thousands of pounds over the years for the school. Every penny we raise is invested back into school for the benefit of all of the children in the St. Peter’s community. Please find attached below a copy of the 2019/20 Treasurer's Report.
The next meeting PTA meeting is Tuesday 14th September 2021 at 7.30pm. All parents, carers and guardians of children at St. Peter’s are welcome to attend!
