JAM - roles and responsibilities
At St Peter's, we have a growing group of children who have volunteered and shown their interest in being actively involved in planning and participating in Collective Worship. Our JAM (Jesus and Me) children are given the opportunity to meet twice in a half term to share their ideas on what they would like to see and learn more in Collective Worship, reflect and give suggestions on how to improve worship and participate in worship by lighting the candles, leading the songs and praises, sharing the welcome and sending out words as well as saying the prayers. We take pride in our JAM children, not only do they participate in our worship in school but they also work closely with Mrs Rean and deliver their own worship during our church services such as Harvest, Christmas, Easter and St Peter’s Day.
